Parent Info

Mead Parent Information

Mead Middle School

Check back here every Monday to find the weekly updates Mr. Henning sends out. The weekly update includes information you don't want to miss, including important dates and upcoming events, pictures of students and activities and any other information you need to know about what is going on at Mead.

The Parent newsletter is sent out on Monday afternoons. If you aren't seeing it in your e-mail or receiving a text, contact the school to make sure your contact information is correct.

Also make sure you are following our Mead Facebook page to see the most up-to-date information.

Level Up: Be the Next Best You

Level Up in 2025-26
This year, we are challenging Mead students to LEVEL UP: be the next best you!

This theme will drive everything we do this year because we want our students to be the very best version of themselves!

Reporting Absences
Make sure you contact the office if your child is going to be absent. Absences need to be reported to the attendance clerk by 9:00am to avoid a Parent Link phone call.

Main office: 316-973-8500

For clarification on excused absences, or to send transcripts, please contact the registrar, Shemeka McNeal.

Attendance matters Every student. Every day.

Attendance
We need your help! Our goal is to increase our average daily attendance from 90.3% to 93.2% this year! It is important that your child is in school so they aren't falling behind.
