Student ID's
Student Photo ID Cards
Student safety is of primary importance. We use photo ID cards at Mead to help us identify students and they are used as library cards and lunch cards. Expectations regarding the use of and care for these cards is listed below:
- Students are required to WEAR their ID at school all day, every day
- Student IDs must be visible and cannot be kept in pockets
- Students without an ID will be required to wear a temporary ID
- Lost or defaced ID's should be replaced for $3 in the office BEFORE school
- IDs an lanyards should not be defaced: never written/marked on, scratched, cut, or mutilated in any way (this applies to both the front and back of the ID card)
Temporary Student IDs
Students without their ID card must get a temporary ID from their 1st hour teacher. Temporary ID's must be filled out and visibly displayed on the student’s chest and worn the entire school day. Each issuance of a temporary ID results in a loss of recess. Repeated failure to adhere to these expectations may result in administrative disciplinary action.
