Technology
Technology class includes a range of topics designed to prepare students for the future. Our technology classes are part of the PLTW (Project Lead the Way) curriculum and include courses that include:
- Computer Studies: Introduction to computers, typing, and basic applications.
- Robotics: Learn about programming and building robots to complete tasks.
- Coding: Gain a foundation in coding languages and problem-solving through technology.
- Video Production: Hands-on experience with filming, editing, and producing video content.
- Manufacturing/Engineering: Introduction to design and fabrication using modern tools, including 3D printers.
In spring of 2024, two Mead Robotics teams qualified for Worlds! These teams did a great job and, while they didn't medal, had a solid showing!
